Feels as if it was a blink of an eye ago, when 70 years ago the Nazi’s tried to wipe off the entire Jewish race off the face of Europe… 60 years ago, they had no country, no army, no home to speak of.
Then, fast forward to 1948, when UN finally passed the resolution to divide the former Palestinian state into two states, one being Jewish and the other being Palestine — and so was born Israel. What did they get? A massive chunk of barren land with an eternally hostile neighbor.
Within a mere few hours of its birth and still in its infancy, the newborn state was attacked by almost every major Arab power all at the same time. It was just 650000 Jews outnumbered against the well equipped Arab world.
There was no strong IDF (Israeli Defense Forces), yet they fought, and boy, they did fight hard.
Pretty much every major Arab towelhead equipped with modern Soviet weapons all attacked at at the same time a country created mere hours ago, a country that was 65% barren yet they were beaten back.
Again in 1967 Egypt, Syria and Jordan, the three most powerful armies of the Middle east at that time attacked Israel, resulting in Israel chasing them almost into the sea.
Still today Israel is a powerful country, has a powerful army and air force and a flourishing economy to go with all that.
Intel, Microsoft, IBM all develop their state of the art technologies in Israel.
Their doctors routinely receive awards for the advancements they make.
They made the desert bloom and today export a variety of fruits and flowers all around the world.
Today, despite having a population of a mere 9 million they proudly share the same rank as the United States, which as 250 million population, Russia which has 200 million, China with a whopping 1.5 billion inhabitants and Europe with around 350 million people and you think they’ll be scared of a puny Hamas?

they survived Pharaoh,
they survived the Greeks,
they survived the Romans,
they survived the inquisition in Spain,
they have the pogroms in Russia,
they survived Hitler and his Einsatztruppen,
they survived the Germans,
they survived the Holocaust,
they survived the armies of seven Arab countries,
they survived Saddam.
they will survive the enemies present…
Let us all remember, whoever once tried to destroy them, no matter who, be it the Third Reich, the Babylons, the Greeks, the Romans (who speaks latin these days), the Alexander of Macedonia or anybody else for that matter has not survived and they will make sure they don't.
So forgive them for not worrying and crying, for not being afraid. They are fine and will get better.
However, do not believe what the media tells you, for they will never tell you the truth about a race that has been fighting had for their survival for almost a century now.
